My Favourite Apps!

Megan and I both wanted to do a favourite apps blog post so I decided to start, she'll probably do the same later. These are all available for android(my phone) and I don't know but probably for apple devices unless otherwise mentioned. We didn't include facebook, twitter, and mail since those are obvious. Also I was kinda thinking, should we do OOTDs or what nail polish I'm wearing or some consistent update like those at the end of every post? Would you guys like that or just not even read it? Any ideas for what'd you'd like to see from this blog or tips? Thanks and I hope this helps if your looking for some cool apps!

1) Instagram- a photo sharing app that is super easy to use. I love it, it's so fun! Not available yet for android. :(
2) Doubletwist- I use this to convert my iTunes music onto my android phone. It's really simple and I love being able to listen to music on my phone. This is an android app.
3) Get Glue- Use this app for checking in if you're watching movies or tv, reading, or pretty much anything and you earn stickers, which you can order free physical copies of.
4) Blogger- easy to use, available on most devices and makes it easy to blog on the go.
5) Adobe Photoshop Express- easiest photo editing app I've found. Pretty simple though.
6)Shazam- every listen to a song and then have no clue what it's called? Let Shazam listen and it'll tell you what song! It's magic.
7) Bump- share files, contacts, photos and music samples between devices simply by bumping them together.
8) Monkey Swing- Game by Donut Games, It's really fun and simple. Cool spin on Angry Birds.
9) Words with Friends- Like scrabble, but easier. Me and Megan have a game on. :)
10) Hair Makeover- Take a picture of someone, then give them different hairdos. It's funny.

Winter Fashions: Boots!

These are some of my favourite boots for a variety of price and weather. Some are more practical than stylish and some are more stylish then pratical, it just depends where you live. Let me know, as always, what you want to see more of on this blog! Thanks! So without further ado, my favourite winter boots! 

These combat boots are more on the fashionable side. I love the edgy look of these. The zippers up the sides make them easy to put on, the ones I have need lacing up and it takes forever to do up. These aren't very warm but stylish and are great for probably -10ish. Wizard of Oz fans these are THE Ruby Red Uggs. If you've watched Wizard of Oz, do you remember those ruby red slippers Dorothy gets from the witch her house kills? Ya well I've always loved those shoes. These boots are so cute! They totally remind me of dressing up as dorothy as a kid. These are definitely warm but I don't know how good they would be in snow. They also come in different colours. You can easily find these on the official Ugg site for about for about 168$.

Sorels are the warmest and most practicle. These ones are really nice but overall I like the top two best. These are great for cold areas yet there most fashionable then most warm boots. These lace up which could be a bit of a disadvantage, but you can get shorter Sorels that go up to that seam line is about half way up these. More on the pricy side, these are around 200$ at www.sorelfootwear.ca

These cute moccasins are more for the places with lighter weather or just for indoor weather. These have that traditional look but a modern look with the edgy studs. I think these are really cute and would definitely wear them. They also look really comfy. Minnetonka has cool moccasins like these at www.minnetonkamoccasins.ca

Vacation+favorites!

Hey guys!
This wintery weather is not so great and I miss summer! I am so excited to travel to Hawaii. I cant wait to soak up some sun. Anyone been there before? I haven't! Any must go spots? Must visit restaraunts? Recommendations for what to wear or pack? Im pretty clueless haha.

Polyvore

Okay so Kate introduced me to this website called polyvore and I am highly addicted to it now! I highly recommend it for anyone who loves fashion or who is very artistic.... It's super fun!

Kate: These are a Few of My Favourite Things...

Hi!

So for my first blog post I thought I'd tell you a few of my favourite things so you can get to know me a bit better. These are my favourite things at this exact moment and could change at any time. Id love to know some of your favourite things, comment? Thanks. It's pretty long, so let's get started.

-My hands down favourite sport is volleyball. I've been playing for 2 years (3 seasons) and I love it.

-My favourite new movie is defenetly the Muppets! I love it, it's so cute and funny. My dad was crying laughing so hard, so it's perfect for all ages.

-I love burning my Winter Night candle from bath and body works. It makes my room smell great! It's awesome!

-Another movie and book I have been absolutely adoring lately is The Help. I watched the movie then was intrigued so much, I got the book. Both are funny, heartwarming and put a light on an historical issue.

-Taylor Swift is definetly my favourite singer and celebrity. I went to her concert with Megan and it was the most amazing concert ever!

- I love shopping. It's one of my favourite things to do and I love getting a good deal.

- Travelling is another one of my favourite things. I love exploring, learning about other cultures and tasting new foods.

- Be the Change! Free the Children is my favourite charity organization. Fundraising for them is really fun, I like encouraging others to help make a change! I would love to go to Kenya on a Free The Children Trip.
